Dad Turns 70!

The evening started at Bistro Bella Vita...pictures needed to be taken before the party could begin. Appetizers followed by the main course...YUMMMM, top that off with some great dessert! The birthday boy even got candles to blow out on his tiramisu'. What a great night for laughter, fellowship, and celebration of my dad's 70 years of life. God Bless you with many more, dad!

Indian Summer

What a beautiful day today! I think this is what they call an Indian Summer. I am looking forward to this weekend...we are celebrating my dad's 70 years of his life. I will post pictures later.

More Senior Fun

This senior, who just happens to be my nephew, was really fun to photograph. Matthew has a very quiet personality, but when he was getting all those pictures taken he was up to trying anything. I love that attitude...you don't always see that with a guy having his pictures getting taken. Thanks Matthew for a really fun time. Love you!

Senior Fun

I was thinking that I should show off some of the senior photos that I did early September. Seniors are such busy kids in the fall...it's the last time they do everything. The last time to have photos taken for the yearbook...last sports that they will play...last, last, last... They will soon be filling out all those college applications, remember one of them will be your last. Good Luck with your last year...

First of all, let me say a huge thank you to my former student and now colleague, Therea Kemink. Theresa gave me a wonderful opportunity to be her second shooter for Jeff and Amy's Wedding on Saturday, October 11, 2008. The day was picture perfect, an Indian Summer, with beautiful colors for a great backdrop. This couple was amazing! To even humor the old art teacher, they posed like the painting "American Gothic." I love the attitude, and thanks for letting me have a little fun! Congratulations you two!
