Helen ~ 6 Months ~ Part ll

Blogging  . . .
It's one of those things that is always on the back burner so to speak. I am having a very difficult time trying to find the time to blog, since my son is getting married in less than two weeks.

Anyways, here is little Helen. She's six months old . . . time just goes by so fast . . .

Vivian ~ three . . . part 1

this is going to be a two part post . . . one with vivian and then the other with her sister Helen.  Vivian has reach the big three years old. it's so hard to see time go by so fast. i thought having my own children time went fast, but when you have grand-children, time really goes fast.
when vivian was two . . . well she hardly wanted to pose, let alone be in front of a camera. in one year, that makes such a difference. she wanted to perform this time around . . . what a difference one full year makes.
i love you little one!

post family

the best part about my job as a photographer is the fact that you can document all those special moments in history. that history which belongs to you! those moments can be captured when you have a brand "new" little one, or when they begin to crawl, walking, or just being a two year old!
i met the post family out at sietsma's apple orchard (liz is one the the sietsma's daughters.) what a great place for pictures.
most of the blossoms were finished . . .
but the mosquitos were out in full force,
a little annoying but we did our best trying to run away from them.
here's a little sneak peek of our night.

sweet sasha and her doll

a little girl and her doll

a doll will sit on the toy shelf just waiting for two very small hands to hold and cuddle them.
a little girl will take her home and pretend to be a "mommy" to their very own doll.
they hold them.
change their clothes.
feed them.
cuddle and nurture their little dolls.
a little girl will take their doll everywhere she goes.
when they go to grandmas, her doll comes right along.
when they go shopping, her doll comes along.
everything a little girl does, her doll is right there next to her. it becomes her best friend.

my little friend sasha has a new doll, an american girl doll. it will become her first little doll that she will cuddle, hold and cherish. she will pretend to feed her, change her clothes, and love her.
enjoy our little adventure with her doll.
